Sagewell Home Care provides in-home care for veterans in Calgary through two funding pathways: the CDHCI program (administered by Alberta Health Services, available to all eligible Alberta residents) and coordination support for those accessing care through Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC).
Available to all eligible Alberta residents including veterans. Alberta Health Services assesses needs and funds approved hours. Alberta Blue Cross pays Sagewell directly. Most veterans with age-related or injury-related care needs qualify. Cost: $0 for approved hours.

If a veteran in your family needs home care now, the quickest route in Calgary is the CDHCI program through AHS. Call Health Link at 811 to request an assessment, or call Sagewell at 403-990-9821 and we will guide you through the process. Most assessments are completed within 1–3 weeks.
